In this time of economic distress, the work of the People’s Council is even more important! At this event, Speaker Karen Bass will outline the current political landscape as well as the major flashpoints for California and our district. We will then discuss the state budget crisis, advocacy strategies as well as the role of the People’s Council in continuing to provide necessary resources for 47th Assembly District constituents. The event will also include planning sessions for the Education, Environment, Health & Human Services, and Small Business Commissions.
